- To Break Addiction - Change Habits
- Benefits: To break unhealthy or unwanted habits there must be a change in the brain chemistry. According to the yogic science, mental and physical addictions are created by an imbalance around the stem of the pineal gland in the center of the brain. As the glands deteriorate, so follows the body and mind, thus creating an imbalance that results in unhealthy habits or addictions. The pressure of the thumbs on the temples and the alternating exertion of the jaw muscles trigger a rhythmic current to the central brain. This exercise is excellent for breaking unwanted habits such as smoking, drinking and overeating. Click Here to Watch Video

- Immune System Booster
- Benefits: This advanced immune therapy is designed to hit viruses and bacteria. The immune system interacts with the central nervous system, the glands, and emotions. We block the flow of our physical, emotional and mental strength when we experience feelings of anger, self-defeat and shame. To boost the immune system, these blocks must be overcome. The right hemisphere of the brain stores many diffuse negative emotions that can lead us to depression and thus a suppressed immune system. This exercise stimulates the sympathetic nervous system and the right hemisphere so that they become adjusted. You may go through various emotions as the glands start to shift their balance. That's okay. Keep going through the process and you will feel light and energized. This type of breathing is called the "sun breath". Click Here to Watch Video
- Raise the Kundalini Energy
- Benefits: Central to the practice of Kundalini Yoga is the raising of the Kundalini energy. In spite of the legendary difficulty, it is accomplished by practicing sets such as this one. The trick is in keeping it up. Regular practice will prepare the body and nervous system for this potent energy. It's often reported that raising the Kundalini is very much like experiencing an orgasm, however, the experience is unique for each person. Some experience it as a heat along the spine or see it as a brilliant light, while others report an energy surge shooting or spiraling up the spine. Whatever the unique perception, it is definitely a pleasant, delightful and euphoric sensation that leads to raised consciousness.
- Emergency Meditation to Balance Emotions
- Benefits: Do this when you are upset, worried, don't know what to do or you feel like screaming and yelling. Drink a glass of water before practicing this meditation. When there is a water imbalance in the system and the kidneys are under pressure, it can cause worry and upset. Drinking water, pulling the shoulders up to the ears and slowing the breath down creates a brake on your emotions that are out of control. After two or three minutes, your thoughts may still be there, but you don't feel them. This is a very effective method of balancing the brain's functioning.
- Perspective and Emotional Balance
- Benefits: This is a common technique used in both Kundalini and Hatha yoga. Every Kundalini yogi should master this practice. It's excellent to do before bedtime to let go of the worries of the day and is an essential technique to establish emotional balance and calmness after emotional shock or a period of intense stress. Inhale through the left nostril to stimulate the capacity of the brain to reset the frame of thinking and feeling. Exhale through the right nostril to relax the constant computation and cautions of the brain, breaking automatic patterns. The two processes together set a new level of functioning.
- Immediate Cool and Calm with Sitali Breath,
- Benefits: This can be done anytime you find yourself in a situation where you feel hot, stressed out and your nerves are on fire. This pranayam (breath exercise) has a cooling and cleansing effect. Some people cannot curl the tongue. If this is you, then simply extend the tongue and inhale over the surface.
- Learning Breath of Fire
- Benefits: This is one of the most essential methods of breathing in Kundalini Yoga. Breath of Fire:
1. Cleanses the blood, mucous linings of the lungs and all the cells.
2. Expands the lung capacity.
3. Strengthens all 72,000 nerves of the body.
4. Warms up the body and activates the brain. Studies have shown that Breath of Fire increases oxygen delivery to the brain; it rejuvenates the brain's neurons.
5. Adding Breath of Fire to an exercise shortens the time it takes to reach the desired effect. Breath of Fire is not hyperventilation. Since it is a purifying breath, some may report a slight tingle or tickle. This is fine and will disappear with consistent practice.
